Truly felt like I was on another planet! The Salar had unique sceneries, had extremes of hot and cold temperatures.
The only country where I truly experienced a “culture-shock”. The presentation for everything is meticulously made to be original yet simple. The food was amazing, the people so helpful, the temples calming, and the onsens very hot!
Cycled through a plain with hundreds of pagodas, found the most isolated temples and climbed up “secret” passages to the last terrace to watch sunsets and sunrises.
This part of the country took me by surprise as it was in full modernization mode. However, the Tiger Leaping Gorge allowed for more rural sceneries.
Treks around volcanoes and mountain ranges mainly on the North Island. Some sceneries from the north of the South Island. Some pictures of the most pristine beaches I've ever seen. New Zealand has postcard pictures everywhere you look.
The island of Tetepare was a very specia, the last unlogged island of the Solomons. I will never forget its people, their beautiful nature and strong will to keep their island untouched.
Mainly a climbing trip which you can see in the Climbing section. There are pictures of markets and some unspoiled islands less known to climbers.
The first time back to my birth country. A mix of emotions, eerie coincidences, people I will never ever forget, and a beautiful countryside. A country definitely rich in culture!
